What a day of tennis and sport on Sunday 14th July. No doubt this day will go down in history as the day of Bourton Vale Lawn Tennis Club’s 2019 Junior Club Championship. We didn’t quite have the crowds of Wimbledon, Lords, or Silverstone, but nonetheless, the level of sportsmanship and quality of play were second to none. Well done to all the juniors who played, and in such good spirit. Congratulations go to William Souch for winning all 6 matches and becoming this year’s Junior Club Champ!

Junior Club Nights have been really well attended. It’s good to see so many children taking advantage of the wonderful courts we have here in Bourton. Incredible to think that children can effectively play tennis everyday of the year for an annual membership fee of just £20! The school summer holidays are nearly upon us so junior club nights will be suspended until the new school term in September. Junior members are of course welcome to use the courts during the summer when available.

Bourton Tennis Club welcomes new members, both junior and adult, at any time. If you’ve played before and want to get back into tennis, or you are a complete novice, or simply want to get your children involved, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you! Please visit our website at www.bourtontennisclub.org for more information.

See you on court!
