At the time of writing, we are planning for eventualities due to the evolving coronavirus situation and following government-issued advice. This we continue to do to protect the work and health of our students and staff.
It’s not long since our Year 11 students completed their mock exams in core subjects. They worked hard and applied themselves with dedication and maturity. Those in Years 11, 12 and 13 are all focused on doing their absolute best in their upcoming GCSE and A Level examinations.
It’s a stressful time, made more concerning by high levels of uncertainty. We support all our students in every way we can, reminding them to balance revision with their wellbeing. Get plenty of rest; eat well; take exercise and let us know if you have any major concerns.
Calling all cyclists! Sharon Laws Sportive – Saturday 4th July
Looking ahead, once again we are hosting the cycling event that celebrates the life of former pupil, Sharon Laws; raises money for Kate’s Home Nursing; and takes cyclists of all ages and experience across the beautiful landscape of the Cotswolds.
Born in 1974, Sharon was a professional cyclist. She was part of the 2008 Beijing Olympics cycling team and won the British National Time Trial Championships. Sadly, after a cancer diagnosis, Sharon died in 2017.
Families and friends; members of cycling groups; visitors to the area – all are welcome to this enjoyable event, starting and finishing at our school. Find out more and register here: https://cotswold.gloucs.sch.uk/sharonlawssportive/
