‘Health Connect Bourton’ – News and Events
A second Dementia Awareness Session was held on 26th November at the George Moore Community Centre with 15 people attending. Thank you so much for coming along. It was very interesting to hear people’s views and experiences and first ideas have been shared on how Bourton can be more dementia friendly! We are aiming to meet again in January but a date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
Quality of Life Consultation
As mentioned here before we would love to hear from you how life in Bourton is. What do you like about Bourton? What don’t you like? Are you feeling connected with your community? Is there anything missing in terms of services and/or activities?
We have therefore, launched a consultation and there are different ways to take part:
- You can access the survey online by using the following link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TJSTCYC (available on the Parish Council and Bourton Browser Websites too)
- The link will also be shared via the Facebook page ‘Bourton-on-the-Water Noticeboard’
- Come along to one of 4 Drop-In Sessions at the George Moore Community Centre (in the Café) on 16/01/19 (10am-12pm); 23/01/19 (5pm-7pm); 14/02/19 (10am-12pm); 27/02/19 (5pm-7pm). I look forward to meeting you there for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee J.
- Come along to the Open4U event at the Baptist Church Hall on Station Road every Thursday from 10am to 4pm. Paper versions of the Survey will be available there during January/February to complete.
Please get in touch in case you’d like to share your views but are unable to access any of the above mentioned ways.
